Tunable Terahertz
Vermont Photonics has developed a novel Terahertz (THz) laser tunable from
1000 to 100 microns. This part of the electromagnetic spectrum between
microwave and infrared is known as the Terahertz-Gap because there have
been no robust, sources covering this part of the spectrum. Vermont Photonics
is using two Tunable THz lasers to conduct research in an effort to discover
novel THz applications in nanotechnology and biotechnology.
