TeraHertz Laser Technology
THz
laser technology has been an R&D priority at Vermont Photonics
for over 10 years. Recent increases in laser output have enabled
investigations into THz interactions with nanostructures such
as large molecules found in proteins, plastics as well as many
other
materials of commercial and scientific interest.
THz-driven resonances in proteins and other nanostructures may lead
to profound technologies enabling new drug discoveries, medical therapies
and the development of novel materials.
Vermont Photonics is seeking partners in the public and private
sector to develop Intellectual Property based on both known and novel
THz
interactions with macromolecules.
